Platform Privacy Policy

This Platform Privacy Policy ("Policy") applies to Easy Air Cargo, operated by DAMAK GLOBAL TRADING - F.Z.E, Office C1-1F-SF4563, Ajman Free Zone C1 Building, Ajman Free Zone, UAE ("Easy Air Cargo", "we", "us", "our").
Easy Air Cargo operates a cross-border digital marketplace structured by administered corridors. The platform enables account creation, user verification, shipment publication on available corridors, mission acceptance, operational management, payment processing through third-party providers, dispute handling and support interactions.
This Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain and protect personal data in connection with access to the platform and use of its services, subject to mandatory rights available under applicable law.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to:
- browsing the platform;
- creating and administering accounts;
- verification and due diligence processes;
- publishing, accepting, tracking and closing shipments;
- payments, refunds, platform credits, disputes and operational reviews;
- communications with Easy Air Cargo;
- security, compliance and fraud-prevention controls.
This Policy applies regardless of the corridor involved. Certain data, compliance or evidentiary requirements may nevertheless vary by corridor, country of origin, transit country, destination country, item type, payment method or identified risk level.
2. Platform role
Easy Air Cargo acts as a platform operator and technology intermediary.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing:
- Easy Air Cargo does not physically transport parcels;
- Easy Air Cargo does not perform customs clearance;
- Easy Air Cargo does not provide included insurance;
- Easy Air Cargo does not act as a bank, licensed payment institution, e-money institution, trustee or contractual escrow provider unless such status expressly arises from a regulated arrangement or authorized partnership.
This positioning influences the nature of the personal data collected, including identity, verification, payment, compliance, evidentiary and dispute-related data.
3. Categories of personal data collected
We collect only the personal data reasonably necessary for operation, security, compliance, evidencing, fraud prevention and service management.
a) Identity and contact data
We may collect:
- full name;
- email address;
- phone number;
- profile information;
- language, country or account preferences where provided or selected by the user.
b) Account and access data
We may collect:
- account identifiers;
- authentication information;
- login history;
- access logs;
- session, browser, device and security-related information;
- information relating to account administration and actions taken through the account.
c) Verification and due diligence data
Where verification is required, we may collect:
- identity document;
- passport;
- selfie;
- trip proof;
- validation or rejection information;
- documentary consistency records;
- data needed for manual review, fraud prevention, safety or enhanced checks.
We may also request, case by case, any further document, support, image, information or evidence reasonably necessary to verify a user, mission, parcel, trip or payment.
d) Shipment and mission-related data
We may collect:
- parcel description;
- item category;
- weight, dimensions, volume, declared value or other characteristics provided;
- parcel photos;
- corridor, origin, destination, timing or availability information;
- pickup, handover, receipt or non-receipt evidence;
- messages, comments, attachments and supporting records relating to mission performance.
e) Transaction and payment data
We may collect:
- amount paid;
- currency;
- payment status;
- transaction identifiers;
- platform fees;
- refund, platform credit, adjustment, dispute, chargeback or payment-review information;
- limited payment-method related information where needed for evidence, fraud prevention, dispute handling or support.
Payments are processed by an authorized third-party provider, including Stripe. Easy Air Cargo does not store full bank card data except where strictly necessary, technically imposed by the relevant provider and permitted by applicable law.
f) Communications and support data
We may collect:
- support messages;
- exchanges between users where such exchanges pass through the platform or are provided during a review;
- complaints, disputes, responses, attachments and evidence;
- administrative records relating to internal decisions or operational reviews.
g) Technical, security and evidentiary data
We may collect:
- IP address;
- device, system, browser, session and technical settings;
- authentication, security, fraud-prevention and administrative events;
- technical logs;
- screenshots, timestamps, system statuses, action histories and other electronic records useful for security, auditability or evidence.
4. Data sources
Personal data may come from:
- you directly;
- your actions on the platform;
- documents you submit;
- communications you send to us;
- other users involved in the same mission or dispute;
- our technical, authentication, payment or infrastructure providers;
- an authority, professional adviser or partner where legally justified or operationally necessary.
5. Why we process personal data
We process personal data for the following purposes:
- to create, manage, secure and maintain accounts;
- to verify identity, eligibility, documentary authenticity, trip reality and consistency of the information provided;
- to enable publication, acceptance, follow-up, evidencing and closure of shipments;
- to process payments, refunds, platform credits, adjustments, disputes and payment-flow related instructions;
- to manage manual reviews, disputes, reports, complaints and internal investigations;
- to prevent fraud, fake documents, false statements, abuse, procedural circumvention, chargebacks and unlawful or suspicious use of the platform;
- to comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, evidentiary, security and authority-cooperation obligations;
- to protect Easy Air Cargo, its users, providers, partners and the public;
- to improve platform security, reliability, performance, operational quality and audit capability;
- to send service, security, compliance, support, informational and, where lawful, marketing communications with opt-out rights.
6. Legal bases
Depending on the circumstances, we process personal data:
- because processing is necessary to perform a contract or take pre-contractual steps requested by you;
- because processing is necessary to comply with legal or regulatory obligations;
- because processing is necessary for our legitimate interests, including security, fraud prevention, dispute management, evidence preservation, compliance, platform protection and defense of rights;
- on the basis of consent where consent is required.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent under applicable law without affecting prior lawful processing.
7. Verification, compliance and enhanced review
Easy Air Cargo may use your personal data to:
- assess eligibility for certain features;
- determine the appropriate level of verification;
- request further documents or supporting records;
- conduct manual consistency, authenticity, safety or risk review;
- suspend, limit or refuse access to a feature, mission, payment, platform credit or corridor where inconsistencies, gaps, risks or non-compliance are identified.
Failure to provide personal data reasonably necessary for verification, security, compliance or evidentiary purposes may prevent access to some or all services.
8. Payments and financial-flow data
Payments made on the platform are processed by our authorized third-party provider, including Stripe, under the payment architecture available and approved for the platform.
Amounts paid by a sender remain subject to the platform's operational flow and to the applicable rules of the payment provider, including security, fraud, cancellation, dispute, compliance and delivery-confirmation checks.
Payment and transaction data may be used to:
- initiate or verify a payment;
- process a refund, platform credit, adjustment or dispute;
- document a dispute;
- apply a fraud-prevention measure;
- respond to a request from a provider, bank, authority or competent court;
- establish, defend or contest an evidentiary or operational position.
9. Data sharing
We do not sell personal data.
We may share personal data, strictly as needed, with:
- other users directly involved in a shipment, mission or dispute;
- our technical and infrastructure providers, including PlanetHoster and Supabase;
- our payment provider Stripe;
- our professional advisers, auditors, insurers, consultants or specialist providers where necessary;
- competent authorities, courts, law enforcement bodies, administrative entities, regulators or public bodies where required by law, justified by an investigation or reasonably necessary to protect our rights, our users or the public;
- any purchaser, investor, successor, affiliate or transaction counterparty in connection with a restructuring, merger, sale, financing or reorganization, subject to reasonable confidentiality and compliance safeguards.
We may also disclose data where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, payment-risk reduction, dispute management, platform protection or legal compliance.
10. International transfers
Because the platform is cross-border by nature, some personal data may be accessed, transferred, stored or processed outside your country of residence, including in jurisdictions connected to:
- platform operations;
- a given corridor;
- a technical or payment provider;
- a compliance, evidentiary or regulatory-cooperation requirement.
By using the platform, you acknowledge that such transfers may be necessary for operation of the service, subject to reasonable applicable safeguards.
11. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- provide and administer the service;
- maintain platform security, integrity and auditability;
- process payments, refunds, platform credits, disputes, chargebacks, audits and reviews;
- comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, security and evidentiary obligations;
- establish, exercise or defend rights.
Retention periods may vary depending on:
- data type;
- risk level;
- relevant corridor;
- the existence of a dispute, authority request, audit or regulatory requirement;
- the reasonable need to preserve evidence or operational history.
When personal data is no longer needed, we may delete, anonymize or archive it in accordance with applicable law and our legitimate compliance and evidentiary needs.
12. Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies or similar technologies necessary for:
- technical operation of the platform;
- authentication;
- security;
- session stability;
- certain interface preferences.
Easy Air Cargo may also, depending on the features deployed, use security, authentication, performance, analytics, attribution, communications, user-support, audience measurement, remarketing and fraud-prevention technologies.
Where a non-essential technology is activated, Easy Air Cargo will update the relevant transparency information and, where required, obtain the user's consent before activation.
13. Security
We implement reasonable technical, organizational and administrative safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, misuse, unauthorized disclosure or unlawful destruction.
Such measures may include:
- access controls;
- permissions segregation;
- authentication;
- logging;
- administrative review;
- need-to-know restrictions;
- contractual protections with relevant providers.
However, no system is fully secure and no absolute guarantee of security can be given.
14. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request:
- access to your personal data;
- correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erasure where legally permitted;
- restriction of certain processing;
- objection to certain processing, especially direct marketing;
- withdrawal of consent where consent is the legal basis;
- portability of certain data where applicable.

- communications strictly necessary for service operation;
- communications relating to security, compliance, verification, payment, disputes or support;
- informational or marketing communications relating to Easy Air Cargo where permitted by law.
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time using available unsubscribe tools or by writing to privacy@easy-air-cargo.com.
16. Minors
The platform is not intended for persons under 18 years of age. You may not use Easy Air Cargo if you are under 18 or if you do not have legal capacity to enter into a binding commitment.
17. Evidentiary data and electronic records
Easy Air Cargo may retain and use, within the limits of applicable law, system logs, workflow confirmations, timestamps, statuses, payment histories, administrative action histories, screenshots, receipt evidence, communication evidence and other reasonably maintained electronic records for purposes of:
- security;
- audit;
- compliance;
- evidence;
- dispute handling;
- defense of rights.
18. Changes to the Policy
We may amend this Policy at any time. The updated version becomes applicable upon publication on the platform with a new effective date, subject to mandatory legal requirements.
Where appropriate, we may also notify you by email, account notification, banner or any other channel reasonably associated with your account.
